What specific services do you provide?

Delight Support Services provides support with daily living tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and organising appointments, alongside personal tasks including toileting and incontinence needs, showering and bathing, and medication ordering and administration.

Are your services customised to fit individual needs?

We visit clients at home to discuss all their needs and develop a care plan together with the client and family members. The plan is shared for agreement or amendment — it is specific to the individual and tailored around their requirements and desired independence.

Can family members be involved in the development of the care plan?

Absolutely. We find this very beneficial for everyone if the client has no objections and is present when the plan is created.

What are the qualifications and certifications of your care staff?

All staff are trained and experienced in caring for adults. We operate a robust training schedule with annual course refreshers, provide specialised training for staff caring for people with complex needs, and train all staff in end-of-life care.

How do you vet your staff?

All of our staff have an up-to-date DBS check before they commence employment with us. We require two references before offering employment and carry out regular risk assessments.

What are your hours of operation?

Delight Support Services operates 24/7. Management is also available around the clock.

How flexible are you with scheduling and changes to the care plan?

We work with clients to ensure visits are at a time that suits them. Care plans are reviewed monthly, and changes are made at the earliest convenience if circumstances alter in the interim.

How do you ensure the quality of care provided?

Client and family meetings are held regularly to discuss any concerns, and the Registered Manager is always available. Surveys and questionnaires are sent every six months to clients, families, and staff to ensure excellent care delivery.

Can you provide references or testimonials from other clients?

All our reviews are available to see on our website and Google search.

How do you keep family members informed about the care being provided?

We use a management system that allows family members to see how their loved ones are cared for, with the option to directly message the assigned care staff — subject to the client's agreement. You can also speak directly to the Registered Manager, and regular client and family meetings are offered.

How do you ensure consistency in caregivers and handle absences?

Clients are matched with caregivers who share similar interests before care commences. Clients are also introduced to a Gold team of backup staff who are familiar to them and cover any absences from the usual caregiver.

Are you licensed and accredited by relevant regulatory bodies?

Delight Support Services is regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) and is inspected to ensure compliance with all regulations.

Are there any community resources or support networks you can connect clients with?

Yes. Delight Support Services will help clients connect with any resources they require and assist them in joining community groups based on their hobbies and interests to ensure a fulfilled life.
